• To empower all Australians with the knowledge, skills and habits needed to take ownership of their health and adopt healthier lifestyles.

• To increase awareness of the risks of obesity in Australia.

• Collaborating with the Obesity Prevention Australia and The Obesity and Physical Activity Section of the Population Health Division in the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.

• Department of Health-Physical activity and nutrition is responsible for the promotion of health-enhancing physical activity to improve the health and well-being of the Australian population.
